This is a reminder to all of the voters in the United States, especially those of you who enjoy gun ownership. In 2013 the United Nations proposed a vote on UN Arms Control 2117 by all members of the United Nations.
3. Calls on Member States subject to Council-mandated arms embargoes to implement and enforce the embargo, including by, as mandated, avoiding diversion of state owned or controlled weapons by enhancing small arms and light weapon stockpile security, accountability and management; improving the monitoring of small arms and light weapons that are supplied in accordance with exemptions to arms embargoes; and ensuring that seized, confiscated or surrendered small arms, light weapons and ammunition are recorded and disposed of in an appropriate manner, and by implementing national weapons marking programs in accordance with the International Tracing Instrument; UN Resoluion 2117
Of course before the support of such a bold attempt at international gun confiscation could be voted on by the United States approval had to be gained and voted on by the US Senate and Congress.
This vote is 2013 history but of most importance are the ‘yes’ and ‘no’ votes of US Congress and Senate who represent states with populations that are clearly in favor of the Second Amendment to the Constitution. Some of these people are still holding office.
The vote to support the UN resolution was defeated in the Senate 53 to 46. The 46 Senators who voted in favor of International Small Arms confiscation (that Includes the United States) were all Democrats. Some of these Democrats represent citizens from ‘gun toten’ States such as:
Baucus-MT, Bennet-CO,Cantwell-WA,Harkin-ID,Johnson-SD, Klobuchar=MN,Levin=MI,Landrieu-LA,McCaskill-MO,Murken-OR,Murrau-WA,Reid-NV,Udal-CO,Wyden-OR.
Clearly the fact that the Senate Democratic votes in support of this UN resolution were an across the board vote is indicative of unity against our Constitution by a political party and not individual misguided votes.
The yes votes in favor of the UN Resolution by elected officials seems contrary to their oath of office: Upon taking office, senators-elect must swear or affirm that they “will“support and defend the Constitution.” and that would include the Second Amendment to the Constitution “A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.
In September of this year President Trump in his speech to the United Nations said: “America is governed by Americans. We reject the ideology of globalism, and we embrace the doctrine of patriotism,” Trump said. “Around the world, responsible nations must defend against threats to sovereignty not just from global governance, but also from other, new forms of coercion and domination.”
Our President took a stand for the United States of America and put the United Nations on notice. He reaffirmed the Senate vote in 2013 and those in the US Senate and Congress who voted in support of the UN Resolution 2117 and their political party should also take notice.
Regardless of personal beliefs about guns or anything else for that matter, the notion that any one person or political organization claims to know whats best for this country and commits votes that are contrary to our constitution is not only a violation of their oath of office it is dangerous to our sovereignty. These people are corrupt rogues and who knows to what or who their votes benefit when contrary to our constitution.
Morality or religion alone is not what holds the United States together, its the unity in our beliefs that our government was founded on the premise that we are individually legally free to decide for ourselves, things like religion, morals, etc:. as defined in our Constitution It’s only our constitution that guarantees this right and without it, there is no freedom. Is this what these Democratic senators want?
The corrupt rogues in Congress and the Senate have sold a bill of good to their constituents and have convinced them that they and only they have the power to decide what this country should stand for and insinuate that their political status grants them the power to negate our Constitution. Their subversion’s are emboldened and rewarded for their treachery by their political party just as criminals are emboldened and rewarded by cartels such as the mafia.
Are we a nation that is asleep, or in bed with these people? The election of Donald Trump, who is more of an independent than Republican, is an indication that we are not asleep and will do what it takes to reinforce our Constitution and cleanse our government.
